DESCRIPTION

I wanted to make a general-purpose synthesiser, compact, easy to use, and light on cpu, yet still capable of a wide range of quality sounds. 3X is the result.

Hi new R5 user - Mac users - if clicking and pops, try disable wireless networking - fixes on my MB pro (I also have to do same thing in pro tools) - nice synth - thanks

Thanks for good basic sounds & a GUI that says 'I'm your servant'. The sometimes-clicks comes from the sequencer. Hello from Paule. Reduce the latency in REAKTOR from 1 ms to some more.

This is great. Looking into the structure of this thing, there is about enough virtual wiring to stretch round the solar system. Amazing synth, and amazing build efficiency too (hence perhaps the CPU efficiency)

this is excellent. very usefull and a great amount of cool snapshots for fast results. the charakter is quite similar as the famous K5000S ... breathy, glassy, clear!

Wicked synth! A breeze to automate with my Korg MicroKontrol. Absolutely rock solid on my rig. No clicks. Dual 867 G4, OSX 10.3.6, Logic 7, Motu 24io and only 512m of ram

Nice layout! Very intuitive. I appreciate all the hard workj that went into it. However, the sounds are very small and thin. This is more of a basic sound effects machine than a musical instrument. I have a novation k-station and a korg z1 to compare to, and there is no comparison. Im still waiting for a Reaktor VA that can compare with others. So far I have not found it. Everything else in Reaktor is amazing, but the synths are lacking IMHO. Still, nice job.

otherwise it is awesome and very useful. Its nice to download something that isn't designed to invert some sound and twist it up and spit it out and the kitchen sink. this thing is a workhorse and sounds really rich!

Very, very good design, but the presets are too crazy. Maybe a few more conservative presets would show that it can "sit" well in an arrangement ... but hey! spend some time with this and it's a rewarding synth! Thank you!

Played a LOT with this yesterday. Incredible! Perfect for music-to-picutre guys. Lots of useable presets and excells at icy landscape sounds. Also BIG props for breaking out of the regular Reaktor-look gui and giving us not only something different, but also something that one can actually NAVIGATE. Terrific!

ant, i agree the supplied snaps are "tidy velvety and clear" BUT if you spend some time as i have with this you can get sounds that are "grinding confusion" this is one of the top 3 synths ever uploaded. get to know it, it is brilliant.

Deserves all the respect it has gotten, Good on all fronts. Great interface, great sound, the most versatility for the fewest knobs. Gave it 10. (and i never give 10's generally)

Mmmmm Strange its a super ensemble that in the first place but i'm running it on a PC and I also have clicks in the audio.... I Hope you can fix it ! But for the rest GOOD WORK !!

Ben - thanks for that - but another mac person told me that even though the clicks are more audible with fx, they could still hear slight clicks on patches without fx. weird... there's nothing wrong with the structure, so theres nothing really I can do i've decided - except for hope that it will dissapear in V4.03...

Gold! I tells Ya! Gold! fantastic James. and so CPU efficient. clicks and pops are in the delay and chorus modules. I just 'deleted' these, because I prefer my synths without FX...(synths tend to get used in a host application that has it's own effects) .if you need a hand debugging them let me know. ben.

this is soooo good. in terms of flexibility versus number of knobs (i don't like too many knobs) this is one of the best reaktor synths. loads of AM (which i love) and loads of routing possibilities in a very uncluttered environment, make this a joy to work with. all three oscillators can be used as LFOs as well. thanks so much for this.

Hi James, good work! But there is a clicking in the background (ca. 0.5 Hz) on every preset. (G4 733MHz). It seems to be created before passing the audio envelope.

Perfect! A very good GUI makes it easy to work with that synth. Although it 's very versatile and has a well implemented modulation routing matrix it is light on CPU use. It's one of the first synths on which i could directly start creating own sounds with ease. By chance it matches almost any creteria i wanted to implement in my own synth creation :-) An extra plus for providing lots of presets.
